When I got on the direct train, the interior was clean and tidy, and the seats were comfortable and spacious. After the train started, it ran smoothly, and the scenery along the way was beautiful. What surprised me even more was that the direct train was only 10 minutes from the high-speed railway station, which saved me a lot of time and energy. The direct train to Mount Taishan brought me convenience for my trip to Mount Taishan.” Mr. Wang, a tourist from Qingdao, took a family of three to climb Mount Taishan, and visited Mount Taishan as a shortcut. The Tianping Lake Taishan Tourism Center is located in the southwestern part of Tai’an CityMount Taishan is located just a 10-minute drive from Tai’an High Speed Railway Station and just a 5-minute drive from Tai’an Expressway North Exit. Visitors can easily navigate the center, and those who drive can take advantage of free parking. For a scenic route, tourists can take a direct bus, bypassing the main urban area and traveling along the Taohuyuan Scenic Road or Huanshan Road directly to the heart of Mount Taishan. From there, visitors can choose to ascend the mountain by cable car or on foot, making it an efficient and scenic entry point.
The Taishan Mountain Train, named “Deer”, takes its inspiration from Tai’an’s mascot, “Deer” and “Dangdang”. In recent years, Tai’an has made full use of its rich cultural and tourism resources, and has vigorously promoted the integration of these sectors. This strategic focus has led to significant growth in the cultural and tourism industries. In the first half of 2024 alone, Taishan Mountain attracted 4 million visitors, close to the annual total of 2019. Other attractions in the area are also seeing strong development.
