On the night of July 14, during the Bastille Day celebrations, Disneyland Paris set a new Guinness World Records title for the “Largest Multi-Rotor/Drone Aerial Display of a Fantasy Character.” 1,571 drones lit up the sky, creating a giant tri-colored head of Mickey Mouse above Sleeping Beauty’s castle. This extraordinary performance amazed guests and marked a major milestone for the resort.
This incredible display of storytelling and creativity was brought to life by Disneyland Paris’ entertainment teams, in partnership with Official Technology Provider Dronisos, Europe’s leading drone show technology provider. After months of meticulous planning and effort, the result was a spectacular spectacle that set a new standard, highlighting Disneyland Paris’ commitment to exceeding guest expectations. Over 1,630 drones, including fire drones, were used to light up the sky throughout the entire show, with certain sequences using varying numbers of drones.
