IndiGo has launched ‘Stretch’, a premium business travel service on India’s busiest routes, starting November.

In an innovative initiative to transform business travel within India, IndiGo, the country’s preferred carrier, has unveiled IndiGo Stretch, a customised business travel solution designed specifically for the country’s most frequented business routes. The service features two coupe-style seats, ensuring a quiet and comfortable flying experience. Additionally, it includes healthy meal options catered by Oberoi Catering Services. IndiGo continues to enhance the passenger experience by collaborating with premium partners to design premium seating options, featuring a generous legroom of 38 inches and a seat width of 21.3 inches, allowing passengers to relax comfortably during their journey.

IndiGo Stretch seats are equipped with a six-way adjustable headrest including neck support, a 5-inch deep recline feature, a device holder, a 60W USB-Type C power supply, and a 3-pin universal power outlet, ensuring that devices remain fully charged. IndiGo Stretch passengers will also receive several complimentary perks including no amenity fees, a specially prepared vegetarian meal box, a wide range of beverages, and complimentary advance seat selection. These benefits are complemented by initial check-in and flexible boarding options, making it an attractive option for both seasoned business travellers and first-time travellers.

The IndiGo Stretch section will feature 12 seats arranged in a 2-2 configuration, with an emphasis on space and comfort. The overall cabin, called 6E, will maintain the current seating configuration of 208 seats, including the extra-large seats in the middle of the aircraft.

Starting August 6, 2024, the product will be available for purchase on the Delhi-Mumbai route, with services starting in mid-November at an introductory price of Rs 18,018. The rollout will then be gradually expanded to cover most metro lines. By the end of 2025, a year after its launch, all 12 selected lines are expected to feature the product.
