Ecorobotix, a leader in AI-powered agricultural technology, has announced a major expansion into the U.S. market through a new partnership with RDO Equipment Co. The collaboration will make Ecorobotix’s advanced ARA ultra-precision sprayer available at select RDO locations.
The ARA sprayer features an advanced AI solution that sprays plant health products with a precise 2.4 x 2.4 inch spray area, reducing chemical use by up to 95%. This results in lower phytotoxicity to crops and improved soil health. The technology also eliminates manual weeding, providing a high-tech, cost-effective alternative that can lower input costs and boost yields. Designed with diversity in mind, ARA’s advanced algorithms are optimized for vegetables such as carrots, lettuce, and onions, and can be adapted to a variety of other crops.
With 80 locations in the United States and an extensive global network, RDO Equipment Co. will support growers in adopting this innovative spraying solution.
“We first learned about Ecorobotix’s innovative ARA sprayer while working with a vegetable grower on ways to improve their operation,” he said. Brady KeyesRDO Pacific Northwest Product Manager. “All of us at RDO are excited to offer this smart spraying solution along with our services and support so growers can effectively integrate advanced spraying equipment to save labor or input costs.”
