Pan Pacific Hotels Group has made its Kyoto debut by signing a strategic partnership with Tokyo Hotels following the launch of Bellostar Tokyo, a Pan Pacific Hotel, and Grove Shinjuku, a ParkRoyal Hotel, both located in Shinjuku, Tokyo last year.
This unique partnership will leverage Pan Pacific Hotels Group’s strong global brands, international sales and marketing network across Asia Pacific, Europe and North America and extensive distribution platforms supported by robust technology infrastructure to enhance business performance in key source markets around the world.
Higashiyama Kyoto Tokyo, a Pan Pacific Hotel, will also be included in the Pan Pacific Discovery loyalty program, providing powerful access to 27 million potential members worldwide.
“The successful opening of Hotel Beloostar Tokyo, a Pan Pacific Hotel and Hotel Grove Shinjuku, a PARKROYAL Hotel has led to a significant increase in international travel to both hotels with around 60% of total guests coming from our loyalty programme,” said Mr. Choi Bing Sum, CEO of Pan Pacific Hotels Group.
The Japan National Tourism Organization recently announced that the number of visitors to Japan from January to June 2024 increased by 65.9% to 17.8 million compared to the same period last year, with the monthly figure for June 2024 reaching an all-time high of 3.14 million.
With a population of 2.5 million, Kyoto Prefecture consistently ranks among the top five most visited cities in Japan, attracting 32 million international and domestic guests in 2023.
“We are very pleased to partner with Pan Pacific Hotels Group to manage the third property, following the two hotels that opened in Tokyo Kabukicho Tower last year,” said Mr. John Murray, Representative Director and President of Tokyo Hotels & Resorts Co., Ltd.
We feel that the core values and vision of Pan Pacific Hotels Group closely align with our company’s purpose and philosophy, and by combining the strengths of both companies, we will be able to develop a better brand for our guests and the local community.
The hotel will open its doors to the world on a wider scale as a place that offers its guests a unique local experience, traditional beauty and culture that the hotel has cherished since its opening.
Through this partnership, we hope to be able to bring the deep charm of this elegant city to tourists from all over the world and provide them with a time of satisfaction and contentment.
