Windstar Cruises has appointed Jason Grant as vice president of information technology, to lead IT strategy and fleet expansion with the arrival of two new ships in 2025 and 2026.
Windstar Cruises has appointed Jason Grant as its new vice president of information technology. Grant will be responsible for managing IT operations shore-to-shore and onboard across the Windstar network, while leading the company’s technology strategy, innovation and performance improvement.
Grant has over twenty years of experience in the technology industry, having led IT teams internationally, delivering innovative technology solutions for multiple cruise operators. His career includes senior roles at Lindblad Expeditions, followed by a stint at Carnival Corporation. There, he worked with brands including Seabourn, Holland America Line, Princess Cruises, and P&O Australia, where he served as Senior Vice President and CIO. Most recently, Grant served as CTO of Shoot 360, a revolutionary basketball coaching system that uses advanced machine vision technology, and is used by entities such as the NBA, NCAA, and numerous commercial companies.

Grant’s guidance will be crucial as Windstar Cruises moves forward with its fleet expansion plans. The addition of two new ships, Star Seeker and Star Explorer, scheduled to join the Windstar fleet in 2025 and 2026, respectively, underscores the company’s growth trajectory.
