American luxury fashion house Badgley Mischka is teaming up with British glove maker Cornelia James to unveil a fall collection that will launch in late August.
Designers Mark Badgley and James Mischka said they discovered the venerable glove brand ahead of the fall/winter 2024 show and “loved the excellent craftsmanship and distinctive designs.”
Combining classic elegance with contemporary flair for the first time, the bespoke capsule collection features three styles – crystal embellished, satin velvet with bow tie, and tulle opera.
“This collaboration represents the perfect union of our design philosophy and their heritage craftsmanship,” said Mishka.
“Great gloves deserve great dresses,” added Genevieve James, Creative Director of Cornelia James. “Badgley Mischka is the ultimate in occasionwear, and everything they do exudes charm, intelligence and elegance.”
“We are delighted to offer a range of gloves designed with their dresses in mind – dresses providing the words with Cornelia James gloves providing the punctuation – together we will make statements.”
The Cornelia James x Badgley Mischka gloves will be available on both brands’ websites, priced between $250 and $495 (£189 and £375).
