Rihanna is taking part in a major fashion and beauty event at Selfridges this month with the launch of her Savage X Fenty and Fenty Hair brands.
Let’s start with the lingerie, sleepwear and activewear brand, which has opened a store within the lingerie store at the retailer’s Oxford Street store in London. Meanwhile, there’s the launch of Fenty Hair, a full haircare range, exclusively at Selfridges stores in the UK across London, Birmingham and Manchester.
Significantly, this is the first outlet for both brands in their European launches, marking Savage X Fenty’s first retail partnership in the UK, and its first ever physical international location.
The in-store lingerie store offers a wide selection of styles designed for all body types at affordable prices and “with a bold embrace of individuality.”
The collection includes the brand’s latest innovation and softest collection yet, Soft N’ Savage, as well as best-selling Savage X Fenty essentials, including Savage Not Sorry, Mod Poppy, Romantic Corded Lace and Sheer X.
“This is just the beginning of a very exciting chapter and this partnership is the perfect starting point for us to showcase the brand’s commitment to creating innovative, accessible products designed for everyone,” said Genevieve Kunst, SVP and GM Europe at Savage X Fenty.
Savage X Fenty at Selfridges stocks bra sizes 32A to 42D and underwear sizes XS to 4X. Retail prices start at £15.
Meanwhile, the launch of Fenty Hair at Selfridges follows a successful online launch this summer, with the full range available exclusively at Selfridges.
To celebrate the occasion, Fenty Hair has taken over The Corner Shop at Selfridges flagship store in London from September 3-28, renaming it Mane Street “to create a fully immersive version of the city’s most stylish street, inspired by the campaign video,” which also features artist Jess Glynne.
Inside Mane Street, Selfridges customers will be taken “on a journey of product discovery, experimentation and design”.
The entire Fenty Hair collection features the patented Replenicore-5 complex, and includes Comeback Kid Instant Damage Repair Treatment.
The Fenty Hair Show will also be held at the Dome Site at Manchester Trafford Centre (9-22 September) and at the I-Site at Selfridges Birmingham (14-27 October). Guests will be able to book hairstyling appointments or consultations in advance at the Fenty Hair Heaven salon.
