Luxury brand Represent has opened a new permanent space in the menswear section of London’s luxury department store Harrods.
The second-floor space is 610 square feet with Represent, founded by George and Mike Heaton in 2011, saying it “features the brand’s typical upscale, minimalist aesthetic and replicates the interior design of the Los Angeles store that opened earlier this year.”
Signature of the actor R The initial can be seen everywhere, “embodying the essence of the brand through an elegant monochromatic colour scheme.”
Harrods’ presence will also see the brand offer a “bespoke luxury shopping experience where customers can find signature collections from Owners Club, Initial and Mainline, alongside an exclusive Harrods collection launching in October”.
The brand is housed alongside other contemporary luxury brands in the menswear section of the department store, such as Homme Plisse, Kenzo, Helmut Lang, and Canada Goose.
“Being in one of the world’s largest luxury retailers is the ultimate dream for any fashion designer,” said George Heaton. “For Represent to be able to continue this partnership with Harrods by opening a larger, more luxurious permanent space is truly special.”
The company has been focusing heavily on retail expansion in recent times. In addition to opening a store in Los Angeles, the company signed a contract this spring to open a flagship store in London on Wardour Street. A few months later it announced a standalone store in Manchester, which is set to open this month.
