Longchamp launched its Fall/Winter 2024 collection, as part of a series of supporting events, called Energy, with its first appearance in London.
This week, the French accessories brand brought together a mix of “VIPs, tastemakers and industry leaders to create an electric atmosphere” at the experiential launch of Energy by Longchamp, an “immersive experience” held at 180 studios, 1 Surrey Street.
It’s easy to see such an event as just another launch party, but the publicity value around such purpose-driven parties is huge. And there’s more to the event. The Energy by Longchamp experience is also open to the public from Thursday to Saturday, with consumers able to get free tickets to the workshops in addition to general admission.
With the preview event attracting a strong line-up of “friends of the house,” including Ella Balinska, Yasmin Feeney, Emily Carey, Corinna Brown, Imani Lara Lancicotte, Mia Regan, Adelayo Adedayo, Amelia Gething, and Francesca Hayward, all of whom were seen wearing Longchamp’s Fall/Winter 2024 looks.
We also saw the stars who presented the new collection: Pixie Geldof, Sarah Harris, Susie Lau, Cora Currie, Chai Maya, Betty Patch, Roxy Navusi, Chiara King and Emma Louise Connolly.
It was more than just a party, as it included several installations that offered guests “the opportunity to discover their energy and the essence of Longchamp.”
There was a light installation that “encouraged attendees to understand their personalized energy profile, as well as a numerology station to help participants connect with Longchamp’s newly reimagined Le Roseau bag line.”
The experimental concept also included DJ sets from Arielle Free and Millie Cotton, and an “energy-inspired show” from House of Pyramid, “which was curated to embody Longchamp’s creative spirit.”
