New British travel brand Timothy London is already heading to Asia, opening the brand’s first international flagship store in Kuala Lumpur.
Located within the Intermark Shopping Centre, the store spans 1,056 square feet and showcases the brand’s growing product range in an environment that reflects its “innovative creative direction.”
The contemporary, luxury-inspired interior features muted panelled walls, oak floors and custom-designed chandeliers, “reflecting Timothy London’s fusion of classic British design and modernity.”
A dark forest green—a shade that is reflected through the Timothy London brand—is incorporated into a handcrafted focal installation, along with custom furnishings and clean-lined display stands that give the store a gallery feel.
A custom-designed central island with an onyx surface, designed in the brand’s signature “O” shape taken from its logo, will allow customers to “showcase the unique craftsmanship and unique features of each product.”
As for the products, the company said that “game-changing travel innovation and expert craftsmanship” are what define the new brand, which has ambitions to establish itself as “one of the world’s leading luggage manufacturers, offering the perfect travel companion for all of life’s adventures.”
Its suitcases come with design features like “industry-first patented silent wheels with silicone dampers (to) reduce friction and noise while eliminating surface vibrations.”
In addition to its stores that opened in June on London’s Jermyn Street, and now in Kuala Lumpur, the brand aims to open a network of international stores with stores launching in Hong Kong and Singapore later in the year.
