Following news that Phoebe Philo’s third release would also see the label expand its wholesale distribution, this new release has now launched as of this week.
It is for sale alongside selected pieces from the first two editions, released less than a year ago and in March of this year.
The three modifications, “available simultaneously for the first time, represent the completion of the inaugural work package,” the company said.
The third edition includes 55 new styles across all categories – ready-to-wear, leather goods, footwear and accessories. It will continue to arrive in two more shipments over the coming months, and the company said the current shipment and the next one are “the most significant in terms of volume.”
Last week, it was announced that the brand, which was originally direct-to-consumer, would be adding more wholesale accounts after an initial move with Bergdorf Goodman.
Starting this week, the product will be available at Dover Street Market in London and Paris, as well as 10 Corso Como in Milan, Maxfield and Neiman Marcus in Los Angeles, and The Webster in South Beach, Miami. However, Phoebe Philo’s own e-commerce store retains online exclusivity.
Philo launched her long-awaited label — backed by LVMH — last October. The former creative director of Chloé and Celine had waited six years since leaving Celine to unveil a brand under her own name.
