Tommy Hilfiger has announced the opening of its latest store in Brisbane, as the American fashion brand continues to expand its presence in the Australian market.
Located in DFO Shopping Centre, one of the most prominent shopping destinations in the Queensland capital with over 140 stores and just five minutes from Brisbane Airport, the new 876 square metre Tommy Hilfiger store on the ground floor is the largest outlet location in Australia, offering a wide range of clothing and accessories from multiple Tommy Hilfiger collections.
Inspired by nautical style, this stylish new venue seamlessly blends the brand’s heritage with modern touches and a vibrant atmosphere, providing a place for visitors to explore seasonal styles at discounted prices.
Guests attending the opening weekend on June 28 were also given an exclusive Tommy Hilfiger hat with purchase.
In its latest trading update, parent company PVH Corp. reported a 10% decline in revenue to $1.952 billion in the first quarter, due to a slowdown in the wholesale segment.
The New York-based company said: Tommy Hilfiger Revenue was down 10% year-over-year, due to a 14% decline in international revenue, slightly offset by a 2% increase in North American sales.
