Singita has unveiled a new five-bedroom residence, Singita Milele, to add to its exclusive collection of private-use villas. Perched atop Sasakwa Hill in the vibrant Western Corridor of the Serengeti, Singita Milele offers panoramic views that invite groups and families to indulge in the epitome of luxury and spaciousness, celebrating and connecting in one of Africa’s most legendary wilderness areas.
This stunning villa offers unlimited views from its hilltop location, allowing guests to fully interact with the Tanzanian wilderness during their stay.
The name “Milili,” which translates to “forever” in Swahili, perfectly captures the essence of the 350,000 acres of pristine savannah that surround this secluded haven.
“The generous spaces and easy flow of Singita Milele – combined with the rich inspiration it draws from Grumeti and its wildlife – embody the ultimate sense of freedom,” he says. George BenningtonHead of Creative Director at Singita.
Modern and elegant luxury
Influenced by the stunning surroundings, the villas offer a modern twist on traditional African safari aesthetics. Melili Resort features five uniquely themed suites – Journey, Pride, Coalition, Dazzle and Crush – each reflecting the specific wildlife characteristics of the Serengeti (giraffe, lion, leopard, zebra and rhino). Decorated in natural colours and textures that reflect the landscape and wildlife features, all suites feature outdoor showers, a bar, private balconies and en-suite bathrooms, although each has its own distinct design and personal touches such as lounge areas, dressing rooms and workspaces.
Contemporary African art and pieces made by local artisans enhance the villa’s connection to its location.
The perfect haven for celebration, networking and relaxation.
Melil strikes a perfect balance between relaxation and adventure, privacy and community, elegance and comfort. Designed to accommodate up to 10 guests, it is ideal for families or groups of friends celebrating a special occasion in a unique setting.
Designed with comfort and relaxation in mind, the villa’s common areas include a cinema room, fitness center, heated spa baths and an outdoor lounge. A dedicated outdoor barbecue area and fire pit provide magical nights under the stars as you reminisce about the day’s adventures, while the high-flow pool and expansive terrace provide refreshing ways to enjoy the views and celebrate together.
Enjoy nature in your free time.
Singita Milele offers guests exclusive use of the villa, with a personal host, dedicated field guides, chefs and a full staff to design a tailored and comprehensive safari experience. Guests can set their own meal times, enjoy private safaris, take part in guided bush walks and enjoy a wide range of nature-focused activities at their own pace.
Designed to bridge the gap between guests and the natural world, suites feature outdoor showers and floor-to-ceiling glass doors leading to expansive terraces. Wellness activities such as yoga and meditation, along with wellness treatments, are available on private terraces or in the outdoor lounge. Guests can take part in exclusive daily safaris or visit local conservation efforts through the Grumeti Fund – Singita’s non-profit conservation partner.
For those who appreciate fine wine, a private tasting with one of Singita’s top wine experts offers guests an exquisite selection of award-winning wines stored in Milele’s cellar.
