Latvia’s leading airline, AirBaltic, has revealed the top destinations for its passengers departing from Riga in August, highlighting Rome, Amsterdam and Milan as key destinations. Based on an analysis of ticket sales and travel trends, these destinations have emerged as the top choices for August 2024.
AirBaltic, which operates from Riga, flies six times a week to Rome, three times a day to Amsterdam and five times a week to Milan. Other popular routes include Paris, Heraklion, London and Prague. Next month’s data shows a clear preference for destinations in Italy and Greece, as well as major European capitals known for their dual appeal for both leisure and business travellers.
In May, airBaltic expanded its reach by introducing 15 new routes, expanding into seven new countries in Southeast Europe. Looking ahead to the winter, the airline plans to add six more destinations, including flights from Riga to Madeira, Innsbruck, Sharm el-Sheikh and Hurghada; Tallinn to Kittilä; and Vilnius to Oslo (TORP). The expansion will bring the airline’s total number of operating routes to more than 130 this year, a record number across all its bases, as well as seamless one-stop connections worldwide through 24 codeshare partners.
airBaltic offers travel classes to suit different needs, including Economy Class and Premium Business Class. Business Class passengers will enjoy first-class services such as first check-in, preferential boarding, a separate seat at the front of the cabin, a delicious three-course meal, unlimited drinks and fast disembarkation.
Overall, airBaltic maintains a strong schedule of more than 130 routes connecting Riga, Tallinn, Vilnius, Tampere and, seasonally, Gran Canaria, with a variety of destinations across Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and the Caucasus region.
