The American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) is gearing up to drive tourism growth in The Bahamas by naming it Destination Partner of the Year. The recognition highlights the association’s efforts to expand travel campaigns across the United States and Miami, with the goal of boosting tourism and positioning The Bahamas as a premier travel destination.

Event and decision
The award was presented at ASTA’s 2024 Travel Advisors Conference in Dallas, Texas in May. ASTA members voted for the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, Investment and Aviation, recognizing partners who support ASTA’s mission to advance the travel industry through effective representation and shared knowledge.
