French fashion house Coperni will present its next fashion show inside Disneyland Paris on the final evening of the upcoming French ready-to-wear season on October 1.
Coperni’s Spring/Summer 2025 show will mark the climax of the upcoming Paris fashion season, which is scheduled to take place from Monday, September 23 to Tuesday, October 1.
“The French fashion house chose this iconic location to reflect a new vision of modern femininity, inspired by the timeless allure of princesses and the empowered story of the contemporary woman,” Coperni said in a statement.
Founded in 2013 by Sebastian Meier and Arnaud Vaillant, Coperni is known for its minimalist, innovative designs and over-the-top theatrical displays.
Maier and Vaillant-Coperni have long been praised for their slick presentation. The duo caused an internet sensation with their Spring/Summer 2023 show, which gained worldwide attention after model Bella Hadid was sprayed with a “sprayable fabric dress.” They also introduced the “Air Pass Bag,” a special edition of the iconic Pass Bag made from an ultra-lightweight material developed by NASA.
In 2020, Coperni showcased its creativity with a “drive-in” fashion show, introducing a new approach to presenting fashion amidst social distancing measures. The event marked the beginning of Coperni’s reputation for hosting immersive, boundary-defying show experiences.
Other shows have included interlocking models of dog-like robots made by Boston Dynamics, and next fall Disneyland Paris will be the site of its latest theatrical production.
“With its magical atmosphere, Disneyland Paris is the perfect location to showcase a collection that blends magic and reality, paying homage to the Walt Disney Animation Studios films that were beloved by our childhood,” added Coperni.
The show will be streamed live on Coperniparis.com and on Coperni’s social media, and the house promises “more surprises to come!”
Disneyland Paris first opened its doors in April 1992 with an opening celebrated by the likes of Hubert de Givenchy, whose house would later collaborate with Disney on a capsule collection to mark the American brand’s centenary in 2022.
Disneyland Paris has grown to become Europe’s leading tourist destination, welcoming more than 375 million visits since its opening. Today, it operates as a multi-themed resort with two world-class theme parks; seven Disney-themed hotels; the Disney Village entertainment complex; and integrated corporate event venues. Disneyland Paris employs 18,000 employees in more than 500 different roles, representing 124 nationalities.
