Sabre and Air Canada unveil full integration of NDC content, enhancing travel agency capabilities and personal experiences for travellers in more than 150 countries.
Sabre Corporation (NASDAQ: SABR), a leading provider of software and technology to the global travel industry, and Air Canada, Canada’s largest airline, today announced the launch of Air Canada’s full NDC content on Sabre’s travel marketplace. This initiative gives travel agencies access to Air Canada’s expanded NDC offerings and services, enhancing their ability to deliver personalized travel experiences to their customers.
Beginning July 17, 2024, travel agents and other vendors can seamlessly shop, book and manage Air Canada’s NDC offerings alongside traditional EDIFACT content, as well as low-cost and ancillary XML options. NDC availability currently spans several key markets, including Canada, Australia, Brazil, Denmark, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, the United Kingdom and the United States. Future expansions into additional markets will be driven by market demand.

Today, more than 30,000 Sabre-connected travel agencies in more than 150 countries use Sabre solutions to seamlessly handle NDC content—from shopping and booking to service. These solutions include Sabre Offer and Order APIs, agency booking tools like Sabre Red 360, and the online booking platform GetThere. Sabre is also enhancing the NDC capabilities of various third-party travel booking applications such as Atriis, SAP Concur, Serko, and Wooba. With this new initiative, these platforms will now have access to Air Canada’s comprehensive NDC offerings as well.
