Spirit Airlines has appointed Richard F. Wallman as its newest member of the Board of Directors, effective July 16, 2024. With his distinguished finance and leadership experience, Wallman’s appointment underscores Spirit’s commitment to strengthening strategic oversight and governance. His extensive experience in corporate finance and airline industry dynamics will be instrumental as Spirit navigates the opportunities and challenges of the evolving aviation landscape.

Richard F. Wallman has held prominent positions in corporate finance throughout his career. He served as Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Honeywell International Inc. and its predecessor AlliedSignal from March 1995 to July 2003. Prior to his tenure at Honeywell, Mr. Wallman held senior finance positions at IBM and Chrysler Corporation. He currently serves as a director on the boards of CECO Environmental Corp., Charles River Laboratories International, Inc., and Roper Technologies, Inc. Mr. Wallman earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth Graduate School of Business.
